CERN ZOO
Another Nemonymous anthology, meaning another weird and fascinating compendium of horror, science fiction and general oddness.

A book that’s so damn good I’m more than willing to excuse the fact that its conclusion is flat-out lousy.
The most famous collection by Italy’s late Dino Buzzati
This French novel is perhaps the most famous work of gothic surrealism.
A good book, this: well written, solidly characterized and imaginative. It’s a period novella set during an important but little-explored stretch of American history. I wasn’t too impressed by the final pages, which take the tale in a predictable and overly pat direction, but overall I like CAST A COLD EYE a fair amount.
An early sixties horror novel that’s been MIA for over forty years, THE CASE AGAINST SATAN by Ray Russell is one of the most important reprints of 2015
Here we have one of the few novels that can accurately be summed up by the vastly over-utilized term mind-blowing. Beyond that, however, I’m not entirely sure if CAPTAIN BLOOD is some kind of dark masterpiece or just a twisted mess of epic proportions. Strong arguments can be made for both views.
A very strange little novel that’s obtained some minor popularity on the underground circuit. A good book? Not entirely. An interesting one? Most definitely!
A terrific horror anthology, attractively packaged and running an economical 151 pages
I’ve previously crowned CODEX SERAPHINIANUS the strangest book ever printed, but this relic from 1975 gives that tome a serious run for its money in sheer nonlinear weirdness.
