I don’t know if Thomas was consciously referencing TWILIGHT in this account of a teenage girl in love with a supernaturally-endowed stud, but LOST IN DARKNESS operates on the same level as that non-classic, as well as most of the other young adult horror novels I’ve read.
THE LOST BOYS
Surprisingly, this novel isn’t all that bad–even if it contains the expected hasty prose and wobbly storytelling I’ve come to expect from movie novelizations–being quite slick and enjoyable overall.

A graphic novel rendering of the notorious Lord Horror mythos that shows up most of today’s purveyors of “extreme horror” as the poseurs they are.

LORD HORROR was never reprinted after its initial run (a large portion of which was confiscated by British police), making this one of the rarest and most sought-after horror novels of all time, and the most famous entry in Savoy Books’ multi-media Lord Horror saga.
THE LONG LAST CALL
THE LONG LAST CALL apparently began life as a screenplay to be directed by Skipp himself. He apparently couldn’t find financing for the film, however, so Skipp refashioned the material into a novel. As such it works beautifully.
