Reviews & Commentary by Adam Groves
PLANET OF THE VAMPIRES
For the most part this 1965 horror/sci fi chiller is every bit as goofy as you might expect, yet worthy nonetheless for the stunning visuals, courtesy of the late, great Mario Bava
PIRANHA (1978)
the infamous Roger Corman produced JAWS rip that contained some heavy duty talent working behind the scenes. It’s fun, but don’t expect anything too profound
PINOCCHIO AND THE EMPEROR OF THE NIGHT
More scary eighties kid cinema, this one an animated rethink of PINOCCHIO crossed with SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES
PINOCCHIO 964
Director Shozin Fukui employs innumerable over-the-top touches here, creating what may be the ultimate “punk” movie
PIN
A stronger-than-average psycho thriller from Canada about a malevolent medical dummy
