No, this isn’t the lame Hollywood PULSE from 2006, but the 2001 Japanese original, directed by the skilled Kiyoshi Kurosawa
PUFFBALL
This highly eccentric supernatural drama from 2007 was the first feature directed by the great Nicolas Roeg in over a decade, and so for that reason alone deserves a watch
THE PSYCHIC
This restrained seventies-era thriller was one of the final movies made by Italy’s late Lucio Fulci before he gave himself over to gore fests like ZOMBIE and THE BEYOND
PROVIDENCE
Although the ending sucks, this is a fascinating and altogether unique hallucinatory drama by the famed avant-gardist Alain Resnais
PROFESSOR DOWELL’S TESTAMENT
If you ask me, one simply cannot get enough head-in-a-dish movies! Then again, maybe I’m wrong…here’s a late entry in the cycle, a Russian flick from 1984 that adds nothing new or interesting to the subgenre
